mexico is filled with people
lovely people, poor people
rich people, mean people
of them all my favorite
was someone who was always happy
was loyal to a fault
would follow until he vanished
peed on little kid's sand castles
snorted like a pig when excited
was born homeless
became a homebody
and always sat patiently on the curb

Kate and I just returned from a foray to Pinnacles National Monument with the Santa Cruz gang. The scenery was beautiful and the night was bitter cold...

Snow!

Well we've survived the holidays, and were able to make it up to the snow not once, but twice. Both times we snowshoed into the Castle Peak wilderness to test the backcountry snowboarding. Here are some pics of the excursions...
